About Symbiotic AI
Governance Before Generation.
Our Mission
Symbiotic AI exists to build deterministic, auditable governance infrastructure for artificial intelligence systems. We believe AI safety should not rely on post-hoc moderation. Governance must precede generation.
What We Build
Our core framework, CMIS (Cognitive Mathematical Intelligence System), is a structured reasoning layer that evaluates intent, scope, risk, and constraints before any generative model produces output.
CMIS enforces:
- Deterministic decision pathways
- Explicit refusal handling
- Bounded confidence scoring
- Traceable governance envelopes
- Reproducible reasoning states
Why Governance Matters
As AI adoption expands into regulated environments - education, healthcare, public institutions, and enterprise systems - explainability alone is insufficient.
Systems must demonstrate structured constraint, refusal capability, and audit-ready decision logic. CMIS is designed to serve as a governance firewall between human intent and generative capability.
Research Foundation
The CMIS framework integrates symbolic reasoning, deterministic classification logic, bias detection, contextual adequacy evaluation, and constitutional gating.
Development has included:
- Governance benchmarking validated systems
- Determinism validation runs
- Structured evidence bundling for audit review
- School pilot deployment architecture planning
- NSF SBIR Phase I proposal structuring
Founder
Hilarion Hernandez Alavez is the Founder and Lead Architect of Symbiotic AI. His work focuses on governance-first AI systems, symbolic reasoning frameworks, deterministic logic design, and alignment infrastructure for high-trust environments.
Rather than optimizing models for scale alone, his research centers on structural accountability - ensuring AI systems operate within declared, testable, and enforceable boundaries.
System Philosophy
Decision precedes generation.
Governance precedes capability.
Traceability defines correctness.
Restraint is a feature, not a limitation.
Current Status
Symbiotic AI is currently in pre-revenue, pilot-preparation stage, with live static deployment infrastructure and active governance framework development.
Team
A licensed architect (Manuel), who contributes structural thinking, systems design expertise, and a disciplined approach to organizing complex systems.
A professional with a background in business and sciences (GERMAN), responsible for commercial strategy development, market analysis, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
An accountant currently pursuing a master's degree (Noemi), responsible for financial planning, regulatory compliance, and the company's accounting structure.
Additional team members collaborate in operations and development across both the United States and Mexico, enabling a transnational working dynamic, access to diverse technological perspectives, and adaptability to emerging environments in the field of artificial intelligence.
Currently, the company is in an early stage of development, with a growing organizational structure. Foundations are being established for expansion into specialized roles in artificial intelligence engineering, regulatory compliance systems, and enterprise integration solutions, with the objective of advancing toward commercial validation and real-world implementation.
The company's focus is to build robust, scalable, and reliable technological solutions that enable the safe adoption of artificial intelligence systems in critical sectors.
Governance Principles
- Decision precedes generation
- Refusal is a valid output
- Determinism over improvisation
- Traceability over opacity
- Infrastructure over hype
